Rather shocking that PepsiGurl93 posted "omg i hae been searching for this song for ages". While enlightened to hear that she has been searching for this very obscure song and has finally found it I assume she is back to watching Hannah Montana.

The theories about the song and album are interesting. I only know two truths:

1) Roger Waters is a genius.

2) Nobody ever has or ever will play a guitar like David Gilmour.

Roger Waters wrote the lyrics. While many people thought the song is about drugs, Waters claims it is not. The lyrics are about what he felt like as a child when he was sick with a fever. As an adult, he got that feeling again sometimes, entering a state of delirium, where he felt detached from reality.
