Thanks mate - the vid you referred to is brilliant. Am currently deciding b/w Multistrada (obv w/ the Termis) and GSXR750. The MS is only Ducati that I can comfortably ride but I might just wait til I can afford two bikes and get the 1098 or its successor instead if it sounds this good!

this may not be the best audio quality...but the 1098R is possibly the most amazing audio you could get out of a bike...for a much better example search "Ducati 1098R Termignoni Exhaust Carbon Pipes sound" that vid has a bit better audio and you'll find yourself absolutely loving the v-twins after that...

No question it is a cool bike- just the dry clutch clank that I personally dont like. I might feel different if I actually had the opportunity to feel that twin pounding as you suggest. Be safe.

Hmmmm, Maybe some of you don't understand the beauty of an 1198cc twin pounding through an open exhaust...That's too bad. Slipper clutch? Great idea, it's just that IT IS a dry, slipper Ducati Performance clutch, right from the factory. That's okay, it's my bike, not yours, and I love it.

Sounds like a lawn mower. When did they make the 1098R with a dry clutch? Needs a slipper.
