wow my cats dont swim i wish they coud every time its raining they always run outside then run back in its really stupid

Muaha, our cats don't swim but we have a sheep that swims ^^ well, you don't have to believe and I can't get a vid of it but she does swim ^^ never mind the wool, I think she hasn't heard she should've sunk like a stone. But however, nice vid.

My cat (deceased) hated water so much that she dint even drink it but there is a breed of cats somewhere in Turkey known as Van Kedi or "the swimming cat" which apparently swims for fun.

It seems to me that the media like to make a story of anything... even if it isn't newsworthy. This seems more common in the American media; and here is the proof. Of course cats can swim! But lets just torment one so we can make a story out of it!

No news here. Cats always knew how to swim it's a survival instinct they have. But placing them in water (especially in pool water) is horrible for their skin. Not sure why something like this made it to the news and a newsletter. A person with a newsletter giving tips on pets should have already known that cats CAN swim and they should not be put in water for amusement of humans.

God gives animals survival skills. This woman is a total jerk and idiot. Let throw her in the pool to see if she can be proud of herself. This is sick.

Nothing special. All cats can swim. Wildcats do that to chase fish. There's a special race living in the mountains(forgot where, maybe someone knows wich race I'm talking about), they are white with an orange spot on their head, and they swim all day long and love it. The story of cats hating water is a fairytale. Who told this woman that cats couldn't swim?

poor kitty! the woman is soooo stupit! of couse they can swim! what was the kitty out to do? jump from her arm to the water in order to run away? what I'm confused about is why there was a news on this subject. makes me feel the reporters are just as stupid. lets try this with a tigger next time, have the lady carry the tigger in the pool.
