yeah hendrix wasnt the greatest singer but he made up for it with his guitar, a studio version of it from him would yeah probably would have out done dylans version. but as yet i still like dylans the best

If Jimi had recorded this song in the studio his version probably would have smoked Dylan's like Watchtower.

No doubt that it is Bob Dylans version which is the best! And he wrote the song too..
