Dave is at his best when he's mad at NBC. Norm was great in Weekend Update, perhaps was the best since Chevy.

Norm is one of the most underrated comedians out there, and has probably the best deadpan delivery ever.

What's really interesting is he makes that comment "He thinks OJ is innocnet," and then if you watch Norm's millionaire clip, he brings Kato Kalen as his friend and says he has been friends for 15 years. I guess Norm would have a better idea that OJ is guilty than anybody.

although at the time, i remember watching him on weekend update and he was godawfully unfunny. there was no punch line like andy kaufman.. though norm has punchlines in his other (hilarious) material

I was impressed by Norm's humility and restraint. He could have gone on and on about how NBC executives are assholes. He's joking around and defending a man that fired him because SNL did news updates about a wife-beating murderer. Recently, I saw Norm on an episode of "My Name is Earl." Hilarious! We need more Norm!

They have such great rapport and both of them are HILARIOUS! And I learned a new word! Norm made many comments about OJ Simpson on the Weekend Update and that Don Ohlenmeyer (or whatever the asshole's name is) played golf with OJ. I love how Dave comes to Norm's defense! Lorne Michaels has no balls, or he would have helped Norm get the anchor job back.

That's interesting that you know all of that...right NOW..I don't see where you could've learned, BUT...I wonder if you might know why Dave Letterman would insult Ohlmeyer...I realize that they're on different/opposite stations..in a sense (opposite)..but do you know of any OTHER reasons? Or...is it just a stupid question?
