In October of 2000 my wife and I took a tour of the Vespa Museum in Pontedera, Italy. Here you will see early prototype Vespa scooters as well as classics like the Vespa GS and 90SS. If you ever go to Italy and are near Pisa be sure to go see this excellent Museum!

    Italy and Seatle WA have lost incomen they both have rich glass communitys and vespa are right there with air planes the seatel area has the museam of flight as it was a source of wood to build the first planes ans Italy was cool enough to have mopheads!

    I had one briefly in 1980. I got rid of it though, as being I was only 15 and a keen mod, I wasn't sure what to make of it and thought it didn't fit the part. Got an SX150 instead. If only i could turn back the clock.
    P.S. I paid £15 for it! - The SX was under £100 too! - Once had an Italian GP200 for £200 in 1983. Them were the days.
