I can't teach you to yodel, since I can't yodel! But Taylor learned from an instruction tape she got from Margo Smith, so it must work! The tape is still available thru Margo's web site.

Or just listen to as much Taylor as you can find, and try to copy her! Practice, practice, practice. Let it out! And ignore people who look at you like you're weird.

I'm from Canada and I enjoy your singing and yodeling. Myself and my grandaughter(shes 4) listen to you often,she sings along with you. I would like to know if any of your CDs are sold here and where can i purchase them. Thanks and keep singing!!!!

I think reacting more with the audience will come for Taylor with time. I was surprised when I discovered that she is actually quiet, and maybe a little shy! On stage though, she talked to the audience a lot between songs. Some of her talk is scripted, but most is ad libbed, and she does a good job. Another note, the audience for this show was very small, maybe 150 people? Taylor Hicks was performing at the same time, on a different stage.

It's a good song and I really like (I'm glad you told me!) the sound of the "Riders." I think she definitely should keep doing the song. She just needs someone to help her get some "business" to do while the talking goes on. I have one song like that and react to the voices and the audience during that time...and also say a bit, usually.

That's an interesting comment! It is hard to look 'natural' on a stage while you're just listening to a recording like the rest of the audience, what do you do? I don't think Taylor has had much coaching for her stage presence, it's all just her being herself, and she is just a kid. Someone older may choose not to sing to a song like that, unless the backup vocals were live. But Taylor likes that song, and was honored that Riders In The Sky did that song with her.

It's funny to see how lost she looks as the voices on the recording talk about her. It DOES remind us she is just a cute kid (with a wonderful gift). Somebody ought to work with her for what she can do on stage.

Good to see she is still using her talents.

I am a vocal instructor and Taylor Ware made me fall in love with yodeling so much that I am now in the process of opening my own vocal school where I will teach the hearing impaired how to yodel in sign language.
