  • Well let's see. If ...

Well let's see. If the kid started learning the basics of PT now... as you said it takes years to work with. but if he really wanted to learn and started now he'd of pretty much had it down in 3 years of part time usage.... a 15 year old can get his hands on the $200 Protools software... And M audio HARDWARE is cheap as S**t especially if you just go make a deal with a guy at sam ash who gets 50% off m audio then you throw him a little cash. Thats how he can afford the $400 for everything. -Hype

Heh. Your the newb stop acting like you know what the F**k your talking about please. Thank you. If he learns protools now and learns it he wont have to switch software when hes 20 and still working on music.. Then he would have to learn to reuse software and protools is easy as F**k to use which im sure you wouldnt know.

  • depends...whats ...

depends...whats your budget? If you can afford 500 bucks i will strongly strongly recommend getting LOGIC PRO. it has so many sounds...And they actually use the Yamaha Motif's soundbank for a lot of their sounds. All you would have to do is get a midi keyboard controller for like 100 bucks or so to trigger the sounds...FL studio is good too
