my god she sings this beautifully!!! she is so sensitive and pours so much of herself into the singing... amazing performance. i'm a lyric mezzo (almost soprano, similar to flicka) too and it's very inspiring to see a mezzo sing this typically soprano aria so amazingly... hopefully i can too one day!

Frederica sings beautiful, it's so vocal never forced but with great expression. She is one of the best mezzo's in the world

I was told Von Stade sang a marvelous Song to the Moon. And indeed she does! Her singing and interpretation are surprising and mesmerizing. The soft, plaintive tones of her middle add a beautiful fragility to this song. And she is very musical and intelligent.

Her live voice will take your breath away.

Breathtaking

She sings this aria perfectly. I love it! But keep in mind that, she because she can sustain a soprano tessitura for one aria does not mean she could sing the entire role!
