Pakistani Pakhtuns are loyal to their country.

Listen, it is almost impossible for pashtuns to have their own country as America doesn't want that. If Pakistan didn't have Americas support it would have been easy but since taliabn are pashtuns, America is opposing to that. Pukhtunistan is a dream of the pukhtuns and there is nothing wrong with that.Most of this comes from mistreatment, dominence and opression from the pak govt.If u are a pukhtun as you say you are u should know what i mean. I am on a pukhtun side anyday than a punjabi.

Pakistan occupied pashtuns land, we(pashtuns) will never be able to get it back if we are ununited. Do u really no what is pakistan doing to pashtuns? They are killing our women & kids for no reason. We (Pashtuns) want to establish state of Pashtuns (Pashtunistan) where all pashtun people from both side of the Duran line can live peacefully. We want to keep our rich history and culture. Children of Pashtun are thought urdu in schools because pakistan doesn't pashtuns to reach powerful status.

I also don't like the policies of Pakistani government for NWFP, or whatever they are doing in Waziristan or swat. But there is a basic difference, mistakes of governments cannot be considered the mistakes of its people. Moreover, you should know that Durand line is the result of our mistakes, Amir Abdur Rehman Khan had signed that treaty. How shameful it is that you sell your countrymen to foreigners, and then instead of feeling guilty, Afghanistan is still asking for NWFP?

Listen to whatasfandar says. I am not trying to break or divide pakistan. All I am asking is that Pashtuns should begiven their rights. Most of the dogs are sitting in Islamabad while Pashtun children are suffering and getiing killed on both side of the durrani line. If you value Islam and Pakistan. You should not try to divide Pashtuns on both side and I am from Peshawar. I never set a foot on Afghanistan but Afghanistan is also my mother land.

Pakistan means nothing to you, because you are not a Pakistani. Otherwise you cannot say this.

Only Afghans and Indians want to divide Pakistan, the Pakhtuns of Pakistan do not buy that idea.

That said, I am not in favor of ANP policy of appeasement with terrorists.

and tan means land.
And about pashtuns our unity is more important then Pakistan. give awami national time soon he will unite all the pashtuns. he is or they are as the ANP are a lot better then punjabis and sindhis. God bless our mother language pashto. PAkistan means nothing to me

If a government is doing wrong, we cannot blame Pakistan for it. I accept there is some imbalance in our policies since some years, but most of Pakistanis are against these policies, regardless of Punjabi, Sindhi and Balochis. MOreover, ANP has exploited Pukhtoons' sympathies by the slogans of Pukhtoon rights. What they had did when they were in power last time? And even now, they are not going to fight for Pukhtoons rights, they are just deceiting Pukhtoons.

Pakistan is a country of hippocrets, punjabis and sinshis urdu speakers. Pakistan will never give pashtuns their right. Pakistan is opening a border with india to impore relationship with hindus but at the same time they are closing the border with Afghanistan to deide pashtuns. Pakistan is not an islamic country, how many times NWFP was attacked by the log range missiled killing innocent people and pakistan never took any action against America. Long Live Pashto only

Pakistan Ka matlab Kia? LA ILAAHA ILLALAAH! We should keep balance between our interest as a Pakistani, as a Muslim and as a Pukhtoon.Unfortunately, we blame religious parties for their extremism, but we forget our attitude is the same when we stick to a point of view, and are ready even to divide our country for that purpose. If Everyone accept that he may be wrong, there will be less problems in the world. We don't accept our mistakes and are blaming others for their injustice, which is WRONG.

No offense to you brother but like Wali Khan said, "I am a pushtoon for 6000 years, a muslim for 1400 years and a Pakistani for 60 years".

I know one can extract a negative meaning from this statement as was done during the old times, yet we as pushtoons can't give up our identity, our culture and our rights for being a Pakistani. We have also seen what other parties did 4 us.

I think the establishment should give rights to us for being pushtoons who are "Min-Haisul Qaum" Muslim and Pakistani.

I want to clarify one thing. I am also Pukhtoon, and i am not a supporter of MQM. The thing is that i have listened many times ot ANP leaders, and they were telling that Punjabi Istimaar has held our rights. I don't like that. I know our rights are held by some people, but they are not doing it as a nation. I don't like the politics based on the struggle for the rights of Pukhtoons only. Why shouldn't we broaden our vision? Being a Muslim and a Pakistani, ANP should struggle for all of us!

hi man, i think u should follow the facts n fact is ANP won in 3 provinces in recent election. i am a pathan but not into politics. still i think ANP has a clear n peaceful manifesto than MQM. its the only meaningful political party in pak today which is addressing pakistan's biggest problem of terrorism in right way these days, thats talks. today people dieing from both sides in swat,waziristan bajur are our brothers. lets look for a apeaceful solution now, we have been firing guns for 5y now.

Have you seen the 2008 election results. ANP has won seats in THREE (03) Provincial Assemlies of Pakistan. To say that ANP should not address the rights of pushtoons and the people of NWFP is similar to saying that pushtoons have no right to even ask for their rights.

Unlike MQM, ANP has been a peaceful movement from the beginning, otherwise things would be very different.

We don't want to divide Pakistani People as Pukhtoon, Panjabi, Sindhi and Balochi. The politics on lingual will be harmful for Pakistan. We all are Pakistanis, all of us should struggle for Unity. ANP is addressing only Pukhtoons, why should a party be limited to one province. If our politicians have common sense, they should know that a party based in a province, cannot do good for the country.
