  • Mazandaranis are as ...

Mazandaranis are as "pure" Iranian as there can be in multicultural Iran. But there has been much migration to Mazandaran. For example, Shah Abbass relocated 15,000 Georgian families to Mazandaran in the 1600's. Of course, the Georgians themselves are still Iranic people. But that is why Mazandaranis racially today look more like Caucasian Georgians/Armenians than other Persians.

  • I don't agree with ...

I don't agree with the theory of the "got-mixed-with-Russians" simply because it's not at all true for the majority of Mazenderanis, especially those in the country side. Actually, these people are simply & purely Iranic. Those who "mixed" with others were Qâjars or Southern Iranians from big royal or "semi royal" families.

te khena bedon bera :) khale gashang khonni.. I love the " mahalli mazandarani " music. Most of the lyrics and songs are about girls. This is one type of mazandarani folk music. There are others like "Katoli","Taleb",.. This one is about a girl named " Sepideh" and there are many more like "shahrbano","raheleh","benafshe","bano","zelaikha", "khaton",...
    My favorte one is "Taleb"

  • Fair features are ...

Fair features are often found in the country side. In some villages ppl with brown eyes and brown hair are seen as very exotic because the majority got blond to ash brown hair with green or blue eyes. Sometimes, you feel like you are somewhere in Eastern Europe when you are in Mazenderan or Guilan.

Yes. Mazandaranis and Gilakis are genetically close to Georgians, Armenians, southern Russians, and Syrians.
