    I saw Smokey perform this summer (2008) at the Greek Theatre in LA. I was so thrilled that he sang this song, because it my favorite of all his music. I think the lyrics and melody are so pure and insightful and his phrasing is flawless. What a treat it was to see and hear him perform! It's really stayed with me.
