I know the first few boards are dry and will grab the ball and keep it on the lane and send it towards the pocket, but you gota be a little worried bout a gutter flirting with it every throw, no?

theyre not necessarily 5 times harder than house shots. Ive bowled on the pba patterns, you just have to be more accurate than you would on a house shot.

the only ways 2 be exempt are place in the top ten at tour trials ($1500 entry), win a tv event plus to get your tour card u only need a 200 ave or higher for 36 games

I love that special effect showing the bowlers individual styles and the track on the lanes and how both bowlers track nearly matches! And i like it when jones says "guy can't move that camera!" No my friend got a 300 last week and he's not a pro

I can't stand it when people don't use the thumb...in my experience my scores didnt get better until I did start using my thumb...I went from a 160 average to a 195 average..much easier to control the ball that way

It would still be a solid 5. Ball weight obviously is a big factor (deflection), but that's a completely different subject in itself. I've seen bowlers that throw the ball dead straight at the pocket leave solid 5s. One person I saw bowling left solid 5s back-to-back, lmfao. Another person I bowl with that bowls the same way leaves solid 5's often. o_o

I, on the other hand, have been leaving alot of solid 8s... <_< Yes, I throw the big hook.

Yep, but you would have to throw the ball dead straight at the pocket without crossing any boards for any chance of that happening.

wow tjs averedge is 216 and my freinds averedge is a 226 and he isnt pro?

good average for a beginner. but hook helps. more spin adds to more pin action. a straight ball can bounce, and leave soild 5 pins. when you put some(doesnt have to be much) spin on it, the ball wont bounce and will go right through the pins, giving more strikes.
