Tom Tom One XL GPS Navigation System

For Looks also adding navi on a car your able to play DVD's MP3,s and WVAs. But the most important is the bandwidith capacity alloted for in car Navigation systems.

Why would someone pay like $2000 to add navigation to a car purchase when you can just buy this for like $500 or less?

is there a way you can pick a route? like shortest time or shortest distance? or like no tool roads for example?

I live in England. Will I be able to set the tomtom Xl so that it does not take me onto motorways?

I have the Tom Tom One and I absolutely love it. It has already made me more adventuresome going into San Antonio and finding museums, etc. and even local addresses. It is more important to me than any electronic toy I have including cameras, stereos, Ipods, and all the rest. Born with a terrible sense of direction that runs in the family cause my brother bought one and told me about it. The best thing about it. You buy it ONCE and that's it. No monthly fee like with cell phones, etc.

With the ONE XL, TomTom has delivered a GPS that's heavy on style and light on navigation. Given the poor routing performance, slowness, and various other issues with the ONE XL, I recommend a similarly priced Garmin or Magellan GPS instead -- either will be better at the GPS' core function: navigation.

My dad got the regular Tom Tom one today. It is pretty cool.
