Crysis - Nvidia 9600 GT Gameplay "The Core"

depends on your RAM, my card (which is currently a 9800 GTX+ 512 MB, has 2,5 GB of VRAM cuz it shares my 6G system RAM, i can recommend the 9600 1G if you have less then 6 or 4 GB RAM

Very nice!! Im thinking of buying the Asus 9600GT 1024MB (en9600GT/HTDI/1G) but i think there are differences in the speeds of the memory / core speed.. Any suggestions on which one is better? 512mb or 1024mb one? Thanks... (I think 512mb one has faster clock speeds)

yes it'll do fine but i can recommend you.. taking a bttr vid card over the expensive harddrives.. the vid Card and processor are the base of your comp.. make sure they're powerfull and they'll carry the rest..

thanks mate, im gettin a new comp, specs are 2.4 gig quad core processor, 4 gig of ram, 9800 gt, dual 500gb hard drives at 7200 rpm, do you think thisl be a decent gaming comp?

depending on your resolution it'll run at Very High.. if you put it at a reso like.. 1280x1024 and put everything to very high it'll run nicely

i heard crysis will run high on a ge force 9800 gt is this true?

its a 1024x768 or it was :P now playing at 1920x1200 at Very High ^^ (got new vid card)

I'm suprised you were able to run it so nicely while recording and with an AMD 3800.

Hey dude i just wanna ask sumthing, see if i buy a graphic card that has DDR3 memory on it does that mean i'll need 2 hav a DDR3 Ram or it will run with the DDR2 ram.. Plz reply back 2 this, i need 2 know quick cuz i'll be buyin the same grahic card 2mrw...

im saying that you need to turn down your resolution.. even th 9800 GTX will have some minor trouble running it on that resolution at Very high.. if you turn the reso down .. with your 8600 to.. 1024x768 for example it'll run just fine..

thanks for the info.so your saying if i upgrade to say a 9800gtx 512mb or something like that ill be able to run it all max? my pc doesnt even break into a sweat running the game so it must be the graphics card like u said yeah?

your vid card is a lil problem.. but you need to turn down the reso.. A LOT believe me.. turn down your AA to 2 or 4 and put the reso on 1024x768 for best perf.. your vid card cant run the rso that high.. neither can mine for that matter..
