  • Actually, it does ...

Actually, it does mean that PG is better. You may still like Page's style better...and that's fine. But, there is no question who's a more accomplished player. Hell, Page himself would tell you Paul's better.

But, it doesn't really matter because Page wrote some great tunes and that's what it's really about. : ) So, it's important to define "better" in the eyes of both parties before you start arguing about it.

  • "sooo true i mean ...

"sooo true i mean PG cant even play a Classical piece properly"

There's no "proper" way to play a Classical piece. He does just fine playing them how he plays them Further, classical players couldn't do what he does. So, who cares.

Shawn and Gilbert were friends and respected each other. Just as everyone here on youtube should.

  • I have to chime in, ...

I have to chime in, then. You just haven't heard enough of Paul's stuff. He's actually played some jazz. Used to play with Jeff Berlin. Also, he's incredible with different time signatures and rhythm changes. So is Steve Vai.

I also beg to differ on the John McLaughlin thing. He can't play any style well. I guarantee he would sound pretty terrible trying to tame a loud distorted guitar at 110db like Paul does.

Shawn was great. But, wasn't quite as clean.
