  • by that I mean just ...

by that I mean just point out things he said and not just what you think you might have heard, no disrespect intended. I agree that the -isms have no place, church or other but I will go back and watch again to try to see what your saying. Also when you put up the 'random' scripture people don't know what you were going on about so I'm glad you cleared it up with your last statement

  • I tend to be overly ...

I tend to be overly selective in the things in which I partake, esp. music, and I actually came to this page worried because of the headline thinking oh here we go again. For the record, no pun, I don't own but one song with Tye, he produced it and does bg vocals, on it and so I don't know his music all that well. However I am a bit of a cynic and look for reasons to not like people, my nature, but this video ain't doing that for me. I know a little about gnosticism but be more specific

  • Remember this. It's ...

Remember this. It's the small foxes that spoil the vine. Listen to him Carefully. I responded to subtle errors he stated which border on Humanism. We have enough -isms in the church today. Listen carefully and critically. His errors jumped out at me like bad food. When you know the scriptures you hear the gnosticism in his statements.

  • I'm not sure what ...

I'm not sure what you are getting at because I read your posts and then watched the vid, just my process most of the time on youtube, but what he said sounds like the same as you are saying. He said the world has this 'doctrine' of feeling that they use to justify wrong actions and that is carnality but God has been working on him succumbing to his own carnality. I just didn't know if you were responding to a previous post or the video

  • James 1:14-15 made ...

James 1:14-15 made it plain! But every man is tempted, when he is drawn away of his OWN lust, and enticed. Then when lust has conceived, it brings forth sin: and sin, when it is finished, brings forth death.

If you dont cast the thought down you stimulate your lust to the birthing of sin... Control your self. it is your Birth right called the Fruit of the Spirit.... Eat it and produce it!!!

    Ephesians 5:22-23

The feeling ONLY comes when you walk in the flesh. NOT the other way around!!!!!

  • DUNG!!!! The only ...

DUNG!!!! The only time the battle in your mind births as a feeling is when you MEDITATE on the thought. 2 Cor 10:5 instructs us thusly - Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; - There is no feeling there, there is just action. The thought comes, you cast it down. The desire presents itself, you cast it down or make it captive.
