The Lufthansa flight LH44 from Munich experienced severe crosswinds while landing at Hamburg Germany on 1 March 2008 during Hurricane Emma storm. Nobody was injured; the plane landed using another runway.

    In my point of view,when the pilot tried to decrab(with rudder) the strong wind just above the runway, he didnt compensate with a somekind of upwind wing down...for not mentioning he lost kis glide path around 40 to 50ft...see how the ACFT inflates and become higher in path.

    Of course not, we are not talking about bounce landings...the case was....probably he had some cockpit indications of variable winds in speed and direction.....NO WAY, that's low level windshear...only one direction---PULL UP !!
