The earlier incarnations include The Shaggy Dog Animation, Ecco Porco, The Warrior Ant, A Prelude to Death in Venice, an Epidog, Porco Morto, Summa Dramatica, and The MahabarAnta. Rose has been performed by Ruth Maleczech, Porco by Frederick Neumann and The Warrior Ant by Yoshida Tamamatzu. Designs have been predominately those of Julie Archer. Various presentational styles were used. This workshop represents a final choice to stage the trilogy as Pop-Opera Bunraku. The material constitutes Act I of Part I "A Dog's House".
