I sincerely cant care less about what happens to Bush. All I want to see happening is millions of Iranians NOT losing their lives for a bunch of lies. Im not retarded enough to think Bush is the One behind it all: many Americans agree with me in that its your whole system the one which is perverted and not even serving your own interests, in the eyes of the whole world abusing human rights egregiously, and not just in a fairy tale as those they tell about Iran.

Thats cool, Im a conservative as well. Some people like you think Im a liberal, a leftist or whatsoever, but I guess thats just narrow-mindness. You are entitled to your own opinions about a country you have actually no idea about, a country you have never even visted or cared to check their own version of the story. You are entitled to swallow all the propaganda you like, but refrain from expressing them as ultimate truths.

Theres a half myth and half reality in my country, that after it all, Israel will move over here. Apparently they decided this place to be their promised land before Palestine back in 1904. All of this silly anti semite propaganda thrown against the Iranian leaders seems to be aimed at fabricating a new Holo-gram to justify giving them a new piece of land. If today you go to the south of Chile youll see many stores there with signs in Hebrew, surprisingly, since Israel is 15,000 km away.

Quite true. Already in Iraq the US stopped serving its own interests while spilling the blood of millions of innocents and their own soldiers. No comments about whose interests they will be serving in a disastrous war against Iran. But it will surely happen. No coincidence that the ex Mossad agent Sarkozy and Bush are trying to soften a bit the Iranian retaliation through the martyrdom of those faithful to them all through the Middle East as we speak.

If you want hope for Iran smile and watch the millions of Iranians constantly and proudly supporting their Islamic Revolution whenever their leaders give a speech. Good and kind people, of high values. Youd be disappointed watching the images your media ommits, walking down the streets of Iran yourself. The fact that it gives 5000 ex supporters of the dictatorship more coverage claiming their contra is gaining weight doesnt affect a single bit the perseverance of the Iranian nation.

Mind you, I have little delusions about Iran. I do know that country abuses human rights egregiously, and the strictness of their sharia is beat by Saudi Arabia. I don't hate Persians. They have a cultural history that extends beyond what islamic hegemony can corrupt, and I do so despise the mullahs in power over there! The only hope for Iran isn't the US, but the young people; the students.

Also, to set things straight, I am conservative, and I did vote twice for Bush. He's let me and my ilk down, however; we're all very disappointed. So, I've very few qualms left with hearing derision directed at the president. Sadly NONE of the new candidates -republican or democrat- seem very promising

Sir, haven't you heard? The reason the democrats don't impeach Bush is because he will -not might, not maybe, not probably -WILL, as in no room for supposition- WILL!!!- invade Iran if they attempt to impeach him! Clinton did it with Kosovo; the Argentinian president in '82 started the Falklands War to distract public scrutiny. Leaders do these things. To save Iran, you'll have to sacrifice hopes of impeachment.

Oh, and I personally dont support secularism. However if a country chooses that -or the leaders choose that for their people-, it wouldnt bother me if they would refrain from spreading that to places where it doesnt belong.

Yes, its suggesting that. For a demonization campaign would never be so successful if it wasnt because it omits humanitarian images from Iran. Most people who think Iran should be bombed or intervened start out by having no clue about the cultural wealth of Iran and the virtues of its people. Of course I support the Islamic Republic, it was and remains the choice of Iranians, as you can see those massive crowds supporting it and working for it in videos the Western media wont show you.

Hi thanks for watching. Exactly, Im terrible for sticking to one subject when there are so many passionate ones on the table. But its all closely related as I try to state in the end. We are denied an image of a successful Iran, among other things, to be forced to think theres no other possible way besides from a culture of making fun of religions, of human dignity, and human cultures.

is this video suggesting that the western media is denying ancient persian and safavi arts and architecures; kindness and hospitality of iranian people? u don't mention, but seem to be in favour of the current political and social structure of the country. what do u think about the established legal system in iran? what do u think about secularism?

technically, i liked this video a lot -what programm did u use btw? i also found ur choice of music excellent. but i didn't quite understand the message this video is trying to convey. it seems like it's confusing things. i can see u criticize the image of iran in the west, prejudice towards iranian/muslim culture, materialism in modern societies, etc...

Thanks for the comments! What do you mean by a channel? I believe theres no point in showing the 'real Iran' to everyone if you keep echoing the propaganda on the evilness of its leaders, as if people there wouldnt massively stand for them and wouldnt be proudly working for it knowing how independent and authentically free they all make Iran. Saying Iran is nice while echoing the propaganda is more of the same that leads people to accept intervention there.

True. You know what is interesting to see? Look for Xerxes or Cyrus in Google Images, and instead of the images from Persepolis depicting them as peaceful and sophisticated wise men, a big % of them are now from the beast-like perceptions of the movie. Do the same with Persepolis itself, and now, thanks to Marjane Satrapi youll see another load of images constantly whispering: "Iran is evil, its people needs to be striked or culturally intervened".
