Let's prove how really good the Bugatti Vetron is. The F1 has had the reputation of being the fastest car in the world. Not only in a straight line, but it won Le Man. My question is can a veyron win at 24 hours of Le Mans.

Ferrari's are good but against the F1? Yes BMW were contracted to build the engine but the rest of the car is British. You really need to do your homework on the history of mechanical engineering. steel/iron bridges, rail network, TV network broadcasting (yes, not the first but significantly better than any other at the time), radar, radio, roads.... put it this way, there are far to many British inventions and innovations to mention here.

Excellently put, I also don't need a car that has an incredible top end like that because where in the U.S. are you gonna hit 243 mph, I mean really. The McLaren will handle much much better, and thats what I want find a country road and just go, I want to fly through corners not just straight speed.

The F1 and the Veyron are very different cars. The Veyron is very powerful and refined but it's a heavy tank that weighs close to 5000 lbs with driver & fuel. The F1 is much lighter, nimble and more of a driver's car. It will bite back hard if you can't drive, but it's pure adrenaline if you have the skills. According to a journalist who drove both cars, driving a Veyron vs. an F1 is like riding on Concorde vs. flying an F-22 fighter.

Maybe...but it sure took a damn long time for bugatti to figure out how to beat a mclaren. And by a measl 12 mph. Bugatti handles like a rubix cube on ice. Not only does a bugatti need an extra 4 cylinders, but it needs four turbos. Sure it is fast, but its no mclaren and will not have nearly as much rep. This is an early 90's car with 627 hp. The bugatti came in 06 and needs over 1000 hp to go fast. So in all.. mclaren owns.

this car has nothing on a bugatti veyron. it may be able to hit 400.
