how long for the eggs to hatch? my beetles have been dead about a week and i saw the beetles breeding so how long till eggs hatch?

I think you could probably just put 20 into a separate container that you allow to turn into Pupa. You may not want to use a cardboard shoebox because the worms can climb up the sides. Anything plastic works best.

I just started a mealworm farm in a shoebox using quakeroatmeal and 150 worms, Im using that same worm group to feed my geckos right now, do you think that I should get more meal worms or by soon enough I should have a colony started eventhough I feed them to my lizards because how many do you need to start I heard 10-20 worms?

you could but a cheaper way is to use dry cat or dog food that is high in protein and just grind it up real fine almost like a dust

I'm sorry, I don't know what flukers cricket feed is. But, I suppose if the mealies would eat it . . .you could feed it to them.

I was real excited when I started getting pupa too! The most I got in one day was 66. That was crazy. Then, it was a 3 week dry period where I got none. So those must have all been the same age!
