This is pretty mild compared to some places I have seen. You should go to an area where the highway just ends and the road is detoued through little villages that rarely see traffic.

Funny how the Chinese cry racism when they go ot other countries but let me tell you ... of the many people groups I have encountered in my life I can honestly say that the Chinese are the most racist of all. They seem to get patriotism and racism confused. Sad but true!

Come on! it's ok, no big deal, just drive slowly. There was no traffic rules before industrial revolution, rules are for advanced motorized vehicles. If you see so many people are on foot, on bikes, riding horses, you are aware that the road is not for your cars only, aren't ya?

If your pay more attention. U will find out there are lots of tips developed by drivers. It explains why people can survive is such a tough traffic. :) Horn is more useful than mirror. That's a natural signal system, self-adapted.

Wish this situation end soon. That means Chinese is richer.

BTW, those crappy trucks really haul more than Optimus Prime. Even though that's not they designed for. 囧 囧 囧

In the following days, I was back to old days and strong mind again. Actually, I figured out. That's maybe the most optimized way to drive in China under those constrains.

On the freeway, u can see cars, trucks, motorbikes ... in wide speed and accelerating rates range. And most of them are overloaded, that means it can't response swiftly. Why? Everybody's making money. Whatever can get the goods there, do it!

I just came back from my hometown. On the way back from the airport. My bus driver cross the central line from time to time. When the huge overloaded truck rushed to me head in head, I really scared the S**t out of me. After 30 minutes, I was strong enough to take a nap and neglect those horns.
