Fight background:

    well if you watch the movie, he honestly deserved it, he:
    Kills one cop on a basketball court (though honestly the cop was stupid for shouting 'stop police' to him)
    Kills two cops with a sneak attack, one having gotten off the phone from finding out his father (who he hated) had died, the other opening a present from his daughter, he didn't even get to see what the gift was!
    So..yeah..he deserved it.
