1) Having a large set doesn't make you a good drummer.
It just means you can afford to buy a bunch of drums.

for mcjohngr and celtickok, i'm simply saying that "more" doesn't always = "better" and in fact, sometimes "less is more" holds true. yes, peart puts my "almost any drummer..." comment right in the coffin, but i just get sick of drummers, some of whom are good, most of whom are mediocre relying on a million pieces when their fundamentals aren't outstanding...too many of which also rely on a double kick for accentuation in an otherwise fundamentally boring solo. and yes, this kid is incredible.

Huge mistake on "almost any drummer can make a solo sound good with a big kit".Really huge.
