Can Yamaha's all new R125 take on the already strong 125cc class and win?
Thats because Australia is very close to Japan so they are bound to be cheap as the RS125 is made in Italy. The 250R is a high revving bike and has to be kept there constantly and little 4-strokes dont like that kind of treatment and sure enough its been shown that the CAMs will wear out very quickly. A simple 2-stroke like the RS will only blow when badly tuned and raced constantly. Mine has run for 2 years.

Anyway, I'll give you the prices brand new here in Australia for all 4 bikes. (2006 RS250 $12850AUD), (2008 Kawasaki Ninja205R $6490AUD), (2008 Honda CBR125R $4290AUD), (2008 Aprilia RS125 $9290AUD). All prices are for brand new recommend retail price in Australia in Australian dollars, I'm not too sure about where you live UK, just do som research, but anyway, as you can see RS250 cost more than double than the CBR125R here.

By jewlzorjay [Affiliate User] 1224100888 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removeu guys are driblling S**t !!! all motors will last if maintained, period. if something breaks a 2 stroke is cheaper, but more they are more likely to break. as for 125 vs 250 aprillia will win off the line every time, but torque=speed so the 250 4 stroke will keep pulling.

By siicknasty [Affiliate User] 1223921219 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removeof course the 2 stroke Aprilia
By parmen2 [Affiliate User] 1223760185 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down RemoveBrand new my RS125 cost £2700. Thats from an official dealer.
The 250 costs £3200 where ever you buy it. And its unreliable, they havent been around long but the new engine has already had problems. And in a test of engine reliability a 2-stroke will last as long as a 4-stroke if treated the same way with the same revs.
its S**t get over it and if u must have a 125 2 stroke sports bike wanna be get a yamaha R125 with tyers bigger then honda cub 90 so people dont hear the rattle of a 125 then c u trying to get you knee down at 30 mph with tyers that have a massive side wall like a normal pedal bike
By alanadm123 [Affiliate User] 1223737631 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Remove2 stroke are always faster and always less reliable and cost more the maintain, plus the price of a new RS125 I'd rather get a Kawasaki Ninja 250R
By samfisherman007 [Affiliate User] 1223735979 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Remove4 stroke is more reliable, lower maintance cost, yes i agree the RS125 does go faster but for the same price I can get a new Kawasaki ninja 250R instead.
By samfisherman007 [Affiliate User] 1223735779 Reply Spam [+0] Moderate Up Moderate Down Removelook at the bike, not just the wheels, the whole bike is thin, thats why the bike is cheaper than the others.
