Good luck and tall brother. I haven't had the honor of serving my country yet, but my brother is a 6 year Marine. Two tours in iraq and all members of the Marine Corps i see as my family. Represent your country proudly

God Bless You and I will keep you in my prayers. When my son left in January, I cried for 3 days, when he told me he was joining I cried for at least 3 days. He didn't need my permission he was old enough, I realized early on he had to do this for himself,I know He has made the right decision. I know it will make him a better man. I'm sure you will do just fine, it won't be easy but it will be worth it. I wish you the very best. By the way my son is at Parris Island.

Thank-you so much for this video. My son recently joined the Marines, I am so proud of him. today begins his 9th week. He is stationed at Parris Island,SC can you please tell me what week does the Crucuble begin in, I thought it was the 8th week, On the bootcamp calender I have, it appears to take place in the 11th week. He is doing well, as expected he has good days and bad days, he says it will all be worth it in the end. God Bless You, thanks again, it helps to see what he has to go through.

you dont go into DEP cuz your out of shape. DEP is just a delayed entry program, its to get you used to running and exercising. I'm in fine shape and I'm in the DEP. have fun in bootcamp, I leave in 8 days.

Don't shoot before you go to boot camp, all you will do is learn bad habits. When I was there all the kids from the south would brag about all the hunting they did and how they could shoot. 9 out of 10 time they are the worst shots on the range. Wait for the rifle range where you will be taught by the best.

I missed the asvab, i am still joining though. I wont have much of a problem with the fitness so i wont be in DEP, but ive never shot a gun before
