Learn from someone who knows what they are doing, or watch the tutorial videos all over this site, and pay a lot of attention to either. I just started Parkour by doing both of those ideas, and both help. When doing a kong vault, however, dive at the object with momentum, push off with your arms, don't just let them touch dowm, and let your feet catch up after you're over the given object.

if they had crew battles it would. that'd be the sickest i.e. air gear. some people are against competition though. (afraid to get owned xP)
