Well you should if you are such a fan. Album of the year, Song of the year, Female performer of the year, Best female rock vocal performance, like 10 more awards... What does MB20 have for being out 12 years? Thank you, reality and facts overwhelm pure opinions or music preferences. Deny this and you're an idiot.

And its very hard to retour on an old album when you've got nothing new to offer when the album was only average in the first place. So Alanis agreed to go. Once again, Alanis going on tour was advertised 100 times more than MB20 and there is no way to deny that. What disapointed most people including myself was that she's the one advertised only to discover she's the 2nd act. Watch some old live performaces. She had to play in NFL stadiums to give seats to everyone who wanted to see her.

3 am, If you're gone... keep naming some more cause you might get a greatest hits CD with about 5 or 6 songs on it. Hits? All I really want, You learn, Head over feet, Ironic, Hand in my pocket, you oughta know, Thank you, UR, Unsent, 21 things, hands clean, 8 easy steps, Everything, uninvited, I can keep going. It might do you some good to know that they were on tour together because Robs Wife is really good friends with Alanis. Rob did the same old stuff, Alanis added many newer songs.

Exactly....Alanis can't put out a greatest hits album like Matchbox Twenty. Look at all their hits. Everyone knows them....Turn on the radio. You hear Matchbox Twenty way more than Alanis. 3AM is 12 years old and it's played a lot to this day. As is If you're gone. She's on tour with Matchbox Twenty OPENING for a reason...Am I right or am I right?

There were a hell of a lot more noise at the arena for Matchbox Twenty than there was for Alanis. Like I said. If she was so popular, she would be headlining and wouldn't need Matchbox Twenty to give her a job.

They sold out the world's most famous arena...MADISON SQUARE GARDEN....If she's so good she would be out on her own headlining...MB had an album in 2003. Did quite well as usual. They took a break and are back and better than ever. They didn't need the money, are you kidding? Look at Rob Thomas and how he did solo...Alanis is an opening act. Enough said.

They recently released Exile On Mainstream.

And wtf? what summer and world tour? there isn't even a release date on her album yet, not even new single news?!

Who is Matchbox 20? And when was the last album they released? I know who they are, but Alanis still holds the record of selling the most albums of any female artist. Even Madonna. Everywhere you looked were adds staiting, "Don't miss Alanis on tour", nothing of M20. M20 is old news and were in need of money and could only fill amphetheatres and county fair events. Alanis always sells out and did so just in her last tour in 2005 and will again this summer, and again on her world tour in'09

What? Haha... where has she been? Umm, everywhere. Mostly charity events helping organizations raise money. They didn't ask her to tour with them in the way you think. It was mutual. Secondly, where have MAtchbox 20 been? They haven't released anything new since 2002 I believe, where as Alanis has done two new albums since '02, and toured in '01, '02,'04,and '05. She's touring again after this in the Summer with Barenaked ladies, if you heard her live you'd know she helped them get sales

They did HER a huge favor letting her tour with them.....Where has she been lately? She isn't the one that is filling the arena's aroud the country.
