Like most 'forms' of martial arts.. Hapkido has some very practical elements and some very impractical ones.

it's an ok video... and I know it's a demonstration - I just don't like it because in real life people don't just stand there waiting for you to finish your grab like they do in these demonstrations.

If Jae Han Jae promoted lots of jerk in hapkido. this one is one of them, but Grandmaster Jae also promoted good master in Sinmoo. one teaches in San Francisco, California by name of Sunny and one in Salinas, California that goes by the name of Freda.

thats retarded :x in master class u have black and red,in hapkido u have white -> yellow -> green -> blue -> red -> black(dan 1-10) and 10 is the grandmaster

in hapkido you have red and then black... so it is only one level.

If the black belt master is trying to teach them why don't he explain in words and demonstrate? That's what all my masters do at all times...

yes accually a white belt can beat a black belt because its all about reflexes
