Man... i have an answer for YOU. When soldiers die, they die for eachother. They were comrades and they died for eachother. When those Russians came charging towards them, all the politics went out the window. They fought and died for eachother. And that is what my friends did for my great grandfather.

Russians fought like lions, just like this movie. One machinegun team, holds back a huge Italian force, as a sucide mission. So their comrades have time to fall back.

Man... a have question for u. For which country they gave their lives? I`m sure it was not Italy... U should give some thought about it

My dad fought two tours of duty in Libya in an Italian-German battalion. Fought at the famous Battle of Tobruk. Viva Italia. Viva Fascista E Viva Il Duce!

still, to all who are convinced that the italians were cowards youre wrong in so many ways, and although theres much more to it than what i say, its a fact the germans on the eastern front gave legendary praise to the alpini, a division of italians that stood fast when all other units, from all countries of axis control, were pushed back. forza italia!

Yeah, th Eastern front was terrible. People dont realise how barbaric it was there.
But Italia still kept its honour and so did Germany.
I am very proud of my relatives, they fought with courage, as i am sure urs did. I will return to Italy, find and then tend to my Great grandfather's grave because he deserves that at least. I hope he has not been forgotten by th others. He's buried in Trieste. His name was Jeuseppe Mattiassi. Hopefully i will find out more about him

I have respected, I respect and I' ll respect 4 ever the Folgore...they fought with flame bottles and dynamite against a whole armoured division....glory and honor to them!
