    I think there is another reason for that too:
    to test her faith level and see if she is eligible to hear Jesus words later, so after blinding she felt peace and more faith then her sight came back again.

    I believe her eyes were temporarily taken for several reasons 1) a sign from God (besides the oil) as to the supernaturality of Myrna's ecstasies and messages 2) to show God's power 3) shows members of the Mystical Body of Christ are One with each other just as Christ is One with His Church (she suffered so another could see) 4) To pray prudently. If you offer yourself as a victim soul, God will accept, and 5) to relate Myrna's experience to St. Paul.
