    i think the idea of the video was just to find a pattern, i found a pattern for those numbers you mentioned. trying 110
    110² = the number plus last 2 digits of that number, or 110 + 10 to get 120
    then do last 2 numbers ² or 10² and get 100 then line it all up
    120
    100 and you get...
    12100 :D

  • So I did 60s and it ...

    So I did 60s and it worked a little different:

    When squaring a number you add two digits to your original number so in this case we will end up with a 4 digit number (ABCD).
    D is found by mutiplying the last digit by itself.
    C is found by adding the last digit to itself.
    A and B are found by multiply the first digit by itself, and then adding the last digit.
    :)
    However, when you go above 4 (ex:65-69) you get bigger numbers which you have to add into the next step.

    just experimenting i got 1069 for 103squared. my calculater said 10609 so i guess if the last digit squared is less then one digit you add a zero before it
