Started work on my new OO layout. The layout is designed to be an exhibition layout, so it can be set up anywhere flat with a power supply!
The track used is Peco finescale code 75 with electrofrog points. More updates to follow over the next couple months. In due course fiddle yards will be added to either end of the layout.

The layout is a station and small yard set around 1994/6. The model represents a southern railway medium sized station on a busy mainline, just outside london, with pleanty of freight! 3rd rail will be layed, which should be a challenge!
I decided to start work on what's now my 3rd model railway after becoming increasingly bored of the lack of variety on real UK railways; just 66 after 66. So if the railways won't run 'real' traction, i will!

    Hey, yah i found out it is the chip at fault =/
    But thanks, was going to give it a general coat in brown, then ballast and airbrush. Am a fan of your layout, was definately one of the layouts to inspire me to rebuild mine so thanks for the comment

    Hi mate,
    I am 90% you chip is at fault, but I'm not a Hornby Dcc fan.
    I would start with a basic weather your track first, then ballast, then finish off the weathering of your track.
    But overall a good start.

    Hey, yes its designed to be an exhibition layout and in due coarse a fiddle yard will be added to either end. But that's a long way off yet!

    That looks smashing it that it just that little bit or will you be adding more i would love to be bale to have 1 of them in a spear room at my house would be grate good luck with it and defo keep the updates comming
