SSamenTT. If your lucky enough (the exspensive fare, and limited seats "Due to SIA's, popularity") YOU should book yourself on an SIA flight. The a380 is just something for SIA to add to its all ready long list of "Being the first" to do anything in the airline industry. The great SIA service is all ways the same no matter if the aircraft is new or old. SIA's reknown service and product innovation is what makes them the leading airline in innovation/service. They are overall the worlds best.

it will take years for EK to reach the same status of SIA. EK is growing to fast and this will eventually be thier downfall. Great service and world reknown repuation takes centuries to build. No doubt EK is a great airline, not as great as SIA IMO

Emirates are certainly a good Airline,but I wouldnt like to put comparisons with SIA.
In any case SIA were first to fly the a380 got to give them credit for that,even though I believe the first order to Airbus was by Emirates.The first a380 for Emirates is on order,construction no.11-with regn.A6-EDA-and local regn for testing purposes F-WWSH.delivery date not yet fixed but rumoured to be as early as July/august this year.

The multi-racial crew of Emirates can beat the consistency and sheer professionalism of the Singapore Airlines crew. It has the best airline and most efficient airport in the world too.

Emirates are chosen the best service..the best customer satisfaction.

It may not be the best airline in your opinion but it is definitely much better than KLM and any airlines in the United States.

Hey yoga, routes like SIN-LHR and many others require it due to restricted slots and huge demand. There are so many flights with under 100 flights because of the many regional flights taken into the calculations. And plus, the A380 gets 20% better fuel economy than the 747-400.

Is that it, according to the press releases I have read by emails sent by Airbus, all the news letters have the trademark written "Airbus is an EADS Company" even on their website, I think maybe you were wrong(too obvious)but lets just make it clear and to clarify that you are wrong shall we? Boeing is an American company and has a working contract for the Us government, Airbus is a European Company and us fully owned by the EADS Company, thats to be exact.

I was on the flight. Fantastic very quiet inside and loads of room in economy. Had a fabulous breakfast and rception with a jazz band at Changi. Everybody had their photos took and will be sent a special set of stamps. Then on boarding we found a laptop bag at our seat full of goodies and after take were given a signed 1st flight certificate. The cabin service and food were fab. A great way to end my holiday.
