bull crap the battery does not cost 60,000

what he doesn't say, ...Is in about 5 years when you need to replace the 1,000 POUND battery, it wil cost you ANOTHER $60,000 ! ! !!!! !!!!

Pretty thing, I wonder if when a new type of battery comes around, it will be possible to replace it, suppose so.
Anyway, am never going to have this thing, way too expensive. Nevertheless I sure would like to have an affordable electric car with decent millage.

This electric car has almost everything to become a succes, becaue it doesn't have a
stuppid futuristic desing that looks like some cheap aliën craft you don't even want to be found dead in, and it has a descent range
for small trips, and it looks like any other normal sportscar, and that is what people want, except for the price, because that should drop at least 50%, and then they would have a bestseller, especialy her in europe
with our rediclious and outrageious fuel prices.

Maybe GM can built electric cars too, but
never ever say better, because everyone knows that european cars are the best in the world.
Americans can only build big bulky cars with outdated gassguzling V8's, and i think that america should be ashamed about that, because america is S**king up oil like it's coming from a never ending well, and america is also using 25% of the total global enery. Complaining about 3.50 a gallon? How about 8 dollar a gallon in europe? what a joke

I love the tesla,are you paying attention GM, this is what you know you can build ,even better.
While the Volt is okay, we want all electric,no little gas engine to charge the battery,comeon,they just dont want to give up all those moving parts and service that goes with it.

Do people know that Bush sued California to stop selling electrics, all ev1s were crushed,some as recently as 2005.
That does not seem like a pres. that wants to get us off oil, does it.

This is one nice car! But it's "pie in the sky" as 99% of the general population cannot afford the $100K+ price tag. It will have little to zero impact at that price. Now if they could develop a car that sells for say, $15K or so, they could have a world wide impact and change the course of our entire country by allowing us to wean off foreign oil.

No more smog in cities , no more oil changes , just plug it in for a smooth stealthy drive .f...cool if you ask me.Imagine the look on the corvette drivers face when you wizz by him like the wind....

People of the free world should demand their governments to make this technology affordable , everyone would breath much better! Thumbs up to tesla motors !!

Hydrogen combustion ?? or fuel cell...

Because Fuel cell will never see the REAL world.
And those fuel cell cars will cost like 1 million dollars each. Or they should invent a cheap fuel cell... but i don't see that happen yet.
