my modded dealextreme green laser lighting a piece of paper on fire. the smoke detector alarm went off after this, lol.

yes, i was using accelerant, (liquid silicone.) the laser would have needed to be MUCH more powerful to do this on its own, but i assure you it is actually lighting the paper.

    nope, he came up right when i was doing the experiment. if youll look closer, the paper is not hanging off the edge, and there is no flame behind it or under it. the heat from the laser was all that was needed to ignite the silicone in the paper.

    yeah thats my dad's hand. theres stairs behind that counter, and he grabbed the can of silicone cuz he didn't really like the fact that i was lighting stuff on fire right next to a can of something that can easily explode :D
