There are thousands of products, newsletters, and books out there that promise to show you the secret of how to "gain muscle fast" and they ALL want your money but I'll give you the secret for free - lift weights and eat right! Gaining mass, is really simple but it takes a LOT of work. Later I will tell you about how to eat right and lifting weights but first, lets talk about expectations. So remember that to gain muscle requires TWO things. One, you have to lift weights consistently, with intensity and focus. Two, you have to eat 6 small meals each with a good dose of protein.

    You should have professional photographs taken every month to chart your progress. I am serious, if you can put on 72lbs of lean muscle naturally in a year you will become a multi-millionaire with the book you will be able to write.

    Hey BearHHH, No I didnt mention about training structure. The video was too long already and I was worried if I ventured into that topic the video would end up way too long. There is a lot of other important stuff that I cut out too, like the other important things you need to do to gain muscle like sleeping enough and cardio.

    Sorry to say but using the 'pyramid technique' is a bad idea.

    1) Quit using pyramid rep schemes like 10,8,6,4,2 Instead, your time would be better served doing boring (but effective) gut busting sets of 5x5 or 4x8-10 using the SAME WEIGHT for each set. They WILL produce better results than the pyramid scheme. BTW, check your ego at the door when you do these.

    and i mean, i already added 6 pounds of lean muscle in 1 month so 6 multiplided
    by 12 (the number how many months an year has) it equals exactly 72 pounds a year! Thats no miracle mr scooby

    I've been lifting weights for little over 7 months and seen incredible changes already! Pretty sure I've nearly quadrupled of what I can lift for my biceps, triceps, shoulders and back.
    I'm not to concerned about losing weight, only have about 8lb to lose which will take a couple of months easy!
    Though, I think I'm lucky with the genes I received. My dad is big and muscular even though he does little weight lifting nowadays.

    Will whey protein shakes alone be enough to substitute meals between classes? mine is 27g of protein per serving (that's alot) or do i still need to have high calory dense food? FlameDistortion3, i would consider myself lucky if i manage to look like that at age 48 since most bb don't end up looking that great in their 40-50's anymore

    Usyng the pyramid tehnique in the gym and going to concetric muscular failure will stimulate FAR more muscle, than using always the same weights and stop always beyond faliure as many idiots do, thats what im talking about

    If you can only eat 3 meals a day your gains will be limited. Find a meal substitute you can use between classes. Do what I do and put a dry cup of oats in a tupperware with 30g whey and then just mix it with water when you are ready to eat it. Not tasty but very healthy, high in fiber, high in protein and low in fat. Please check out my website for more suggestions.
