    Notice how towards the end the music incorporates Ryu's theme to reflect towards the ending of the fight where Ryu is charging up the Denjin (or Metsu) hadouken to finish Sagat off. This animated movie was so F**king epic.

    I agree, this is an excellent opening to the movie, especially in how it incorporates the Shadowlaw theme (1:50), during the "brief moments" when Sagat is winning the fight against Ryu.I stress the word "brief". Cheers for posting.
