Nice vid. Liked the "Tom Sawyer" cover, too! I noticed that you used a heat gun for the corners. How effective was it? Is it ok for small areas to re-heat? Do you know, or have you used this technique to get rid of webbing issues? Never see this done before, but it makes sense... Cheers! ;)

nope...just personal experimentation....

i am not a pro by any stretch...but try different heat times and different thicknesses of plastic...sorry i can't be more helpfull...;(

i am doing the same thing but cant get one to come out without bubbles?? any suggestions

wow do you get any bubbles after you drawn the lexan? You said you are using .7mm thickness Solid Polycarbonate right?? (Lexan)

thanks...there is a heating element in the "hood" above the vacuum table...but thats it...

i hav the central vacume, came with the house, i know nothing about, it can barely lift foam piece off the floor

i use a 6hp shop vac...was usung a smaller one with poor results

If they have it thin enough...I know they have lexan but it might be to think....good luck

thats great, do you think i can get the lexan at home depot too, im not a big fan of internet purchases, and and i dont know of any art supply stores

probably about $60-$70, all parts except elec grill came from home depot, grill from wall mart....plastic from an art supply stor (lexan sheet .020) but it is to thin have to use at least .030, which you can get online, google: lexan sheet .030

how much did the machine cost you, and where do you get the plastic?
