Neil's entire career has been more consistently impressive than theirs. I'm not putting them down. CSNY are amazing, but Neil's the man.

yeah, i saw the video of the guy getting tasered. yep, in my youth we only had to worry about the police finding our goodies or hassling my old man about his long hair. i also see them protesting, tho not on the news. one of the folks i suscribe to has a lot of video of protest. i fear what is gonna happen to the young folks today.

... When 33 year olds spend most of their free time playing Sony Play Station, you have a country where people in power can get away with invading a small weak country that had nothing to do w/ 9/11, while the Cheney's of the world laugh their fat asses all the way to the bank when their Halliburton stock shoots up 3000%.

  • The present ...

The present generation is less aware of civic responsibilities. Post baby boomer generations have become more apathetic towards political action w/ the passing of time. They also know very little about what this country (U.S.A.) stands for. I bet very few of them would know anything about the United States Constitution. Yes, it is sad, and it is exactly what political leaders like. Getting away with corruption is a lot easier when you govern over a generation of apathetic dumb S**ts ...

I love this song and I'm only 21. My hippy high school English teacher played it for us in class when we were learning about Kent State. This song is F**king awesome and relevant for today...Vietnam...Iraq...what's the difference.

  • I'm from the CSNY ...

I'm from the CSNY generation. I just saw one of today's young people take 5 taser shots simply for not showing ID in the UCLA library. If that is the shape of things to come, they are in deep trouble. Our police were sweethearts compared to theirs.

They are protesting. We're not seeing it on CNN. Remember how it was? Hundreds of tiny protests, and only the occasional big one made the news.

Why say that? Shouldn't we just be thankful that they can be together? Listen to the music. Peace out.

  • i'm glad that at ...

i'm glad that at least some of you understand what i was trying to say. greyisgod may have the answer...is the majority of today's young people to stupid too understand what is happening to our country?? i can only hope that the majority of people in the US will finally see that war is wrong...the wrong war, the wrong place, and run by a different sort of 'axis of evil' Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld. i pray that there are young people out there who will see thru the constant fear mongering.

thank god, some people do 'get it'. there was a lot of really good music in the time of the Vietnam war, it made us sit up and take notice...that you could NOT trust the government, nor the 'war machine' of the pentagon. we felt badly for the soldiers then because they were merely pawns for the government. collateral damage, so to speak. thank you for understanding what i meant.
