It's a lot better than Destiny. I can't say it's better than SEED at the moment but it definitely has the potential to be the best Gundam series to date.

I was simply pointing out the simple and practical solution, which is actually a good quality in a leader.
ZAFT offered Orb assitance in the first war and it would've made a lot more sense to side with them at the beginning of the second war instead of the EA. The fact that she didn't see that obvious solution in front of her goes to show she wasn't cut out for the job. The ministers wouldn't have had a good enough reason to oppose her decision if she chose to side with ZAFT.

I have watched part of this anime but I still don't understand why Cagalli gave up her future with Athrun. I felt that it would be fine if she married him and ran her country instead of just choosing the later.

Maybe... Cagalli needed to focus more on her job rather than think about the safety of her possible future husband?

Personally, if I was Athrun I would not have let her go. I feel the same if I was Cagalli... I just don't get it...
