Blackfoot and Ricky kicked ass. A great version they do of "Wishing Well" written by the great band FREE.

yes i agree we forgot it was all about Southern Rock. in my opinion its time to get back to your roots at some point in time. you ought to check out some BlackStone Cherry they are keeping the southern rock legacy going

I saw Blackfoot several times back in those days. They could pretty well incinerate any stage they played on or any band they played with. And did meet Ricky a few times later on as well, and he is a nice guy.

I see Ricky alot living here in Fort Myers. One of the best bands ever. He such a nice person to talk to. He always has time for you.

These guys should have got way more noteriety. Medlockes vocals and guitar are awesome. Maybe Skynard hurt them. Alot of people including me back in the 70s and 80s thought they were a Skynard ripoff . But after watching these vids, I can see they have true originality. Amazing!

Interesting how they mixed a Southern persona with Native American.
