    The largest possum I ever saw was in LA east of Beverly Hills (6429 W. Olympic Blvd). This is quite far from any woodsy areas, and in our backyard was this giant possum. And I grew up in a small Virginia town, never saw anything like the size of this possum. Also there was a coyote under the house one day that had been rousted by the neighbors cat. Coyote chased kitty all over Olympic Blvd, but no fatalities. A couple of wildlife adventures in the middle of a huge city.
