why lose faith in humanity? the olympics is the only larger-than-life event that place all nations together in common ground regardless of color and creed. such a huge celebration of peace, don't you think!
and China hosting this year's olympics may mean opening its doors to cultures. and why not China, it has "chinatowns" all around the world in the first place!

I don't think that any government is exceptionally fantastic, I don't support communism or democracy nor do I support anarchy, but I think a lot of people who are anti-olympic games in china may be missing a point. The olympics is about bringing people together and trying to bring light into the world, boycotting the olympic games would be boycotting humanity.
