ichiro has good throws but that catcher should get just as much credit for blocking the plate as well as he does

No i think its because of the way the video was edited that the 144km/h looks a bit out of place.
In an allstar game he threw for the last out and threw a 90mph pitch (144km)

some people may say that his arm isnt as strong as peole like vlad guerero because ichiros throws bounce instead for getting there on a fly. but the thing is, he uses his strong arm for low throws that are extremely fast and the ball ends up getting there quicker even with a bounce.
