The car is easy to launch because the turbo doesn't really spool in 1st. It still pulls hard on just the motor though. Once you get into 3rd and the boost hits the car will break traction under full load. Some drag radials will fix this though.

The car still handles well with the engine swap. It tends to understeer instead of oversteer at the limit now, but that is an easy fix with your right foot.

wow this car for sure worth more than $25,599 if i wasnt in such a tight budget id get it. 2jz swap is pretty expensive.

Frame is intact. Some modifications had to be done to get everything to fit. The 2JZ drops right in to the stock motor mounts (there is a little trick to doing this). The car did not sell on ebay. My reserve was not met. Hightest bid was $25,599.

Yes. Just go to EBAY MOTORS and run a search for 2JZ S2000. Mine will be the only one that comes up. Only 2hrs left on the auction (3/16/08).

Change an engine in S2000 is the same as put a Opel Corsa body in to Ferrari Enzo- pointless... You ruined the car...
