I saw an episode of star trek where the ship discovered a planet that spined around even faster than that of earth. would this make people age faster if they were to live there. I know it is far fetch, but just curious. What about if people where places in some kind of capsule or shield, would that prevent them from getting old? I know stupid question but interesting stuff.

Yes, you would physically age faster. One example I see all the time involves twins born at the same time. Twin A stays on Earth while Twin B travels into space. When Twin B returns he is slightly older than Twin A, even though they were born at the same time.

my wonder is if time is just a state of mind. And if it isn't and it is as plain as it is explained here. Would people physically age as well as the clock rate with less gravity involved. In other words sure the clocks change speed, but would we physicall also age fast too.

it's just a teory. no one knows how big will be the diferance betwen the 2 persons, and time WILL stop if u reach the speed of light.

A strong Gravitational field distorts "spacetime" around it as was proven with Mercury's bumpy orbit around the sun.
