    This clip is highly misleading. Hybrids are not made to be gas efficient when moving at constant speeds. The point of the hybrid is to save gas in stop and go traffic and city driving. When the car idols it switches to battery power, hence in the long run it is more fuel efficient.

    Funny how much play the prius gets. A toyota yaris gets better mileage and has better interior space! The last gen prius didn't have any popularity(because it wasnt' pretty). But, now that it's attractive looking everyone talks about green. The car is exspensive doesn't give that great of mileage and only gets play because it looks cool.

    Exactly, they need to mention what speed they were traveling. This test is garbage without knowing what speed they were traveling at. No one drives a Prius at TOP SPEED, no one! It is illegal, it isn't safe, and its just stupid. It is obvious that the Prius is suited towards city driving and driving without a LEAD FOOT.

    This is a dumb comparison done by idiots who don't know about cars. Prius saves gas by recycling braking energy and potential energy gained when you climbed. Also as someone properly pointed out during idles. Nobody runs track in the daily activities. I own a Prius and I got 51.1 MPG now for the last 355 mile I driven. Learn science and do your comparison accordingly.
