"Baby You Can Drive My Car" becomes "Baby You Can Ride My Wheelchair". "While My Wheelchair Gently Creeps" and so on. ARE WE "PLAGIARIZING"? No! WE ARE ARTISTS! We sometime borrow from others. We don't steal. When I sing "Paraplegic Fields Forever", I am singing from MY heart...and my wheelchair. I'm an artist. I SUFFER. OK? Got it? Sheesh!

Actually, as already stated, it was John, not George. And I think he was just commenting on how pop culture was becoming a new "religion" to many people.

When I first met my wife we use to dance to this song in the disco's . Then one day I came home from work and found a note from her saying she was going away with my best mate Dave and our marrage was over . I was absolutely gutted .You would have thought after ten years I would have got over it but I haven't , I still miss Dave as much now as I did then . Great mate and drinking buddy ;-)

roberti- Wow, that was really dumb! You don't need "god" or "Jesus" to hate George Harrison. George PLAGIARIZED this music. He stole it from the Chiffon's "He's So Fine". This guy was always writing sub-par music, WITH the Beatles or ALONE. Leave your God out of it!

Learn how to spell before you talk about God and how George and the Beatles tried to steal His glory. It would be even worse for them not to use the abilities and talents that He's given him.
